The National Mall stretches two miles from the Lincoln Memorial at the Potomac end to the Capitol at the east, flanked by Smithsonian museums and framed by the Tidal Basin's famous cherry trees. During the National Cherry Blossom Festival (late March to mid-April), parking on or near the Mall is essentially nonexistent — the National Park Service closes the Ohio Drive SW lots for pedestrian overflow and Constitution Avenue NW is stop-and-go from I-66 to 14th Street. The bus drops your group at the Lincoln Memorial Circle on Henry Bacon Drive NW, or at the Jefferson Memorial approach on Ohio Drive SW for the Tidal Basin perimeter walk.
Free Smithsonian admissions mean the biggest logistical burden is simply arriving — something one bus handles cleanly. For non-festival visits, Ohio Drive SW has metered bus parking with a two-hour maximum.

Audi Field (100 Potomac Ave SW, Washington, DC 20024) opened in 2018 as home of DC United and the Washington Spirit, a 20,000-seat soccer-specific stadium in the Southwest Waterfront neighborhood adjacent to The Wharf. Parking on-site is extremely limited — roughly 500 spaces that sell out weeks before any DC United match — and the surrounding streets fill with residents' vehicles before the gates open. The standard group bus drop-off is on Potomac Avenue SW, steps from the south entrance, with the bus staging along Water Street SW during the match.
The Navy Yard–Ballpark Metro station is a 12-minute walk across the Frederick Douglass Memorial Bridge approach, making a private bus the most direct door-to-door option for groups coming from Bethesda. For major international friendlies and playoff matches, the entire Southwest Waterfront area sees significant pedestrian and vehicle congestion — arrive early.
